Pro Plan Large Breed Robust Dry Puppy Food is a complete and balanced diet for growing puppies, made with 17% chicken for good nutrition and palatability. It is specially formulated to help boost your puppy's health just like the mothers' milk would by added colostrum and DHA to support healthy immunity and vision and brain development.
How does it keep my puppy fit and healthy?
Brain and Vision - Contains DHA like mothers' milk to support eye and brain development.
Immunity - Includes colostrum, like in the mothers' milk, to support a healthy immune system.
Skin and Coat - Provides essential fatty acids for a thick and glossy coat.
Digestion - Contains 7% rice and also colostrum for easy digestibility and to avoid stomach upsets.
Growth - Has a good amount of calcium and phosphorus to support growing. Also has L-Carnitine and a higher amount of protein to support the needs of growing robust large breed puppies.
And, how do I feed it to my puppy?
You can just give the dry food straight to your puppy in a bowl, but for puppies under 3 months it is best to mix in a little water to make the food moist. Always follow the packet feeding guidelines so that you know how much to feed.
So, Is it a good food to buy?
A quality food that can be fed to support your puppy's health and growth. The packaging is honest about the ingredients. Feeding method is incredibly easy and the product is overall well priced.
Would it be agreeable with my puppy?
Does your puppy have bad breath or teeth?
The dry food is made into kibble (small round biscuit like peices) which the puppy bites and chews to eat; when this happens the kibble actually helps to keep the teeth clean and remove tartar! So, if your puppy has bad breath and teeth this could be helped massively by using a dry feed.
Does your puppy have a dull or rough coat?
The diet provides essential omega 3 and 6 fatty acids for a thicker and more glossy coat. Also in the diet is a good amount of vitamin A for further skin and coat nourishment.
